Welcome to the Emporia State University (ESU) Special Collections and Archives! We are the repository for records and artifacts of permanent, historical value produced or received by Emporia State University that pertain to its development and functions and/or represent it in its regional, national and global context.

Some of the resources the Special Collections and Archives contains include the records of administrative and academic offices of the University, theses and dissertations, all University publications, artifacts and memorabilia of campus life, athletic events, performances and exhibits, manuscript collections of faculty, alumnae and community members, and rare books.

The Special Collections and Archives is a resource available to all students and researchers worldwide. We welcome all researchers and research inquiries.

We are located on the campus of Emporia State University, in room 119 of the William Allen White Library, at the corner of W. 12th Ave. and Merchant Street in Emporia, KS.
