Students who donate memorabilia to ESU’s Special Collections and Archives enrich the University’s historical record, create a time capsule of their student experience, and create collections that are available to future researchers.
Current student assistants working in Special Collections and Archives were asked to share some of their favorite artifacts that capture the student experience of bygone years. Their stories are recorded in the following videos.
Donating materials to Special Collections and Archives is simple!
Gather the item(s) you want to donate (like photos, T-shirts, flyers, artwork, notebooks,
Bring the item(s) to William Allen White Library room 119.
Tell the student at the desk everything you know about the item(s) – what it is, how it was
used, dates, anecdotes, etc.
Complete some paperwork.
